The Onyx; this was the model mobile phone which took the more traditional keypad to a whole new level by introducing the touch screen edge. With just a finger or a joystick you could click your way to revelation. But even with the pomp and color that Synaptics and Pilotfish, who are interface developers and industrial studio designers respectively, launched Onyx, it still wasn’t good enough to get sold.
But it may have become the harbinger of future mobile phone concept developments. With Pilotfish, a new development in the concept of phone music editing was born. The Ondo combines the touch screen ability with a back that lithely twists and turns to allow for fast and comprehensive editing of desired music on the phone.
This new concept according to Pilotfish is a bid to lessen the burden of mobile phonemanipulation especially for those who find it hard to even understand the features and also make music enthusiasts happy. Of course we can not conclusively judge the efficiency of this designed concept but the need for a classy easy to use music editor has always been in the heart of mobile phone music lovers who want a calling phone with an Ipod like concept among its features.
Play it, mix it, rock out to it! Ondo enables a more flexible and physical experience in mobile phones
 Pilotfish, a progressive industrial design and product development studio based in Munich, Amsterdam and Taipei, today introduced Ondo, a dedicated music editing phone concept. The Ondo concept enables OEMs to visualize a new form of user interaction for mobile phones. User The target user for “Ondo” is the music enthusiast who seeks to interactively capture and edit sounds. Going beyond software-based solutions of other products, it is specifically designed to effectively collect pure sounds and is specially constructed to create a tactile sound editing experience.
Music Editing

Made from form-sensitive flexible materials, “Ondo” allows the user to modify recorded sounds by physically twisting and bending the device. Like a guitarist pulling on a whammy bar, users can feel and hear the musical effects as they create them.
Jamming
Another innovative feature of “Ondo” are the three removable display ”sticks”. In their normal state, the “sticks” act as a unified touch display for the mobile device. When removed, each can be separately clipped onto a musical instrument or person to capture live sound. Like a portable recording studio, “Ondo” makes mixing tracks easy, because each “stick” picks up isolated sounds from each individual instrument. The recordings can be immediately sent via MMS (Multimedia Messaging) around the globe allowing musicians at different geographical locations to jam together.


Mixing

In party mode, “Ondo” works as a digital mixer enabling the user to create seamless transitions between songs. This is made easy with interactive touch functions combined with integrated software support.

Market Opportunities

The advantage of such a device is that a range of services and accessories can accompany it in order to enhance the sound capturing and editing experience. From a business perspective, most of the players in the mobile world can benefit: for example, content creators – by providing sound libraries or musical games for download; operators – by facilitating increased user interaction; and device manufacturers – by producing accessories such as input devices, Bluetooth instruments, etc.

Nokia 888 is a concept mobile phone , with a bracelet-like design that has never been endorsed by Nokia. This mobile phone concept has been designed by the industrial designer Tamer Nakisci and won the Benelux design contest in 2005. Three years have passed since the award and still no mobile phone company has put it in practice.
The phone has an amazing design , you can fold it in many ways according to your needs. You can wear it as a bracelet , roll it , bend it and wear it as a clip on your clothes. It is amazing how fun this mobile can be.
Nokia 888 Concept is mostly targeted to teenagers that are very active and take place in a lot of different activities.

E-motions... It means electronical motions that 888 has. You can send and receive forms from / to friends. You can send a heart shape to your girlfriend, so her telephone turns into an icon of heart. Or you can send a dancing form to your friends to call them to the party tonight. This is the fun side of the product. If we look from the functionality side, 888 is quite flexible. You can put it into your pocket, roll it and make it smaller, or put on your wrist when you want to make a video call on the go. If you want to talk like a normal telephone, there you have your telephone shape. We go through a lot of places and situations in the daily life, so it seems like one form is not enough.

It is a car that could come straight out of a James Bond movie, changing into a speedboat, helicopter or jet whenever the respective mode of transport is required. The Halo Interceptor could be the solution to all your transport problems, provide you have the necessary cash of course.

British designer Phil Pauley has come up with the concept based around a sports car with attachments that make it float like a boat and fly like a helicopter or jet. Pauley lays emphasis on the fact that the Halo Interceptor should not be seen as a flying car but a plane, helicopter, boat and car in one.Fitted with a hybrid power unit and a supercomputer in the cockpit, the Halo Interceptor has a top speed of over 500 km/h and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds. Fitted with the jet attachment Halo 120°, it allows a maximum speed of Mach 2 at a height of up to 20,000 metres.The Halo 46° offers helicopter flight version for hasty businessmen. The maximum speed is 185 knots. The Halo 22° speedboat attachment features a racing hull providing up to 63 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles.With looming traffic chaos in the big megacities, Pauley hopes his concept will catch on with the big car producers or at least influence the design of the cars of the future.

Halo 3: ODST (formerly known as Halo 3: Recon) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie for the Xbox 360. Halo 3: ODST was released worldwide on September 22nd, 2009, at 12:00 midnight. The game is a prologue to Halo 3, which fills in the details of what happened in southeastern Kenya from Halo 2 to Halo 3.
An official five-part prequel comic, Helljumper, was released in the months leading up to and after the release of ODST, starting in July, and ending in November . An Xbox LIVE invitation to the Multiplayer Beta of Halo: Reach , announced at E3 2009, was included with ODST, and ran from May 3, 2010 through May 20, 2010.


Gameplay

ODST has the main protagonist, The Rookie, searching for beacons across the city of New Mombasa. It is up to the player on how to get to any specific location, and in any order, giving a very open-world feeling to the game; something for which the main trilogy has been criticized for, due to its linear gameplay style. The "beacons" are various objects, each linked to a particular squad mate in some way. Finding one of these objects sends the player back in the game to find out what happened to one of his five squadmates (Buck, Dare, Dutch, Romeo, and Mickey).Once you go back in time for a short period, you will take control of the player for a single mission, and play the situations that the particular character went through. Unlike the overall game, these flashback scenes go along the path of the linear gameplay that has been common throughout the original trilogy of Halo.
Due to the fact that you are playing as an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, you do not use the motion tracker or the shielding featured in the MJOLNIR Battle Armor suit, instead using the more traditional health bar/medkit system. The Rookie and his squadmates are not able to dual-wield weapons, such as the M7/Caseless Submachine Gun and the Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle. They also cannot use equipment.
On the other hand, the player receives a helmet-integrated data management system known as the Visual Intelligence System, Reconnaissance (or VISR), which includes a low-light vision mode which identifies allies and enemies through the HUD on his helmet's visor by illuminating and classifying objects; green outline for allies, red outline for enemies, blue for scavengable weapons, vehicles, ammo and grenades, and a thick yellow outline for important objects. Outlines of scenery and objects that will block weapons-fire have a thinner yellow outline. The VISR can also be used to manage waypoints, mission objectives, and information which will help the player. The squad has two new weapons, the M7S Submachine Gun and the M6C/SOCOM, which the protagonist and most of his comrades land with in Mombasa during the initial drop. Also, the grenade limit has been increased to 3 per grenade type.
As stated by Bungie in the January 23rd Weekly Update, the Sangheili do not appear as enemies in ODST. Although, several groups of Sangheili corpses are found throughout the campaign, apparently killed by Brutes. By December 2008, the game was "representational", meaning that players could experience the game from start to finish, albeit in an unfinished state. The entire Bungie staff was pulled from other duties to play through the game and offer feedback. Among the unfinished elements was the lack of finished dialogue delivered by voice actors; storywriter Joseph Staten filled in placeholder audio. Bungie's audio director Martin O'Donnell contributes music for ODST, as he has done for the previous Halo games. Due to ODST's shift to a new protagonist, O'Donnell created new music that was a homage to Halo, though was taken in a new direction.

Slavche Tanevsky, a student at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, has created this futuristic Lamborghini design concept.
Dubbed the Madura (named after an Indonesian island famous for bull races), the concept was created - in collaboration with Lamborghini and Audi designers - for Lamborghini's Raw Materials Project.
According to Tanevsky, "The Madura is a proposal for the first hybrid Lamborghini scheduled for 2016. Doing a car more efficient and more nature-friendly, doesn't mean it shouldn't be exciting, good-looking and fast. (But) in my opinion this new propulsion system should be represented on the looks of the car."
While it's vaguely reminiscent of the Reventón and the Estoque concept, the whole design of the Madura is sleeker, more focused, and more aggressive. Up front, the Madura features slim headlights (to emphasize the cars' width), huge air intakes, and a curvaceous hood. Out back, the front-mounted hybrid powertrain allowed Tanevsky to create a maze of intricate lines which helps to give the car a unique appearance
